Bio
Honestly, I get pretty jazzed about art. Not so much the toe-tapping dance moves, but more the feeling of complete admiration and enthusiasm. There’s nothing quite like that feeling of inspiration when you just know you’re onto something. Swiping that pencil across that piece of paper, or dropping a color onto the digital canvas, it always feels right.
Whenever I am working on a professional or personal project, I pour my all into it. If there’s no passion for it, then the end product is far less than satisfying. I believe you have to have that fire inside of you for art, and certainly for graphic design. In my mind art and design are not separate, but an inspiring combination of thoughts and functions. Without the art, quite frankly there’s not a lot of design involved. Of course we all have our own views of what design is, but the most intriguing ones come from a creative mind. I can’t imagine doing anything different.
I’ve been drawing for most of my life, and been dabbling in digital media quite a while. In fact, I liked design so much I went to school for it. I even got a fancy piece of paper that says I got a degree in it! I now work as a professional graphic designer, both in office and freelance. I don’t just do design though, I never lost my knack for illustration. Along the way I’ve managed to have some illustrations published in a few young readers’ books, along with some other children’s learning materials.
Well, I will stop boring you with my views and accomplishments of this and that! If you’re interested in working with me on a project, please feel free to contact me. I am always open to new freelance projects. I promise I won’t bite (too hard), and I have complete confidence that you’ll be pleased as punch with your new piece of design. I’m looking forward to meeting you!
